İshak, Oruç, Hızır and İlyas brothers developed the Turkish sea power on the coast of the North Africa and led the Ottoman Empire to rule over three continents in the 16th century. The victories of Oruç Reis and Hızır Reis provided their fames spread around the world.

This exhibition has been organized on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the death of Oruç Reis who was the founding father of this period known as “The Period of Barbaros Brothers” which led to Turkish domination in the North Africa.
